What I love most about this recipe is that it is ready in under 30 minutes so it is easy enough for a weeknight, but also a great dinner for guests!

This recipe also happens to be keto and low carb friendly. Salmon is a great keto staple because it is naturally low in carbs, but full of heart healthy fats. The addition of the Jalalpeno Lime Butter adds an extra dose of fat making this fit perfectly within a keto diet. 

What ingredients do you need for Salmon with Jalapeño Lime Butter?

  • Salmon
  • Butter, softened
  • Jalapeno
  • Lime (juice and zest)
  • Spices: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cumin

This ingredient list is nice and simple. You just need a few basic ingredients to make this dish. You may want to garnish with additional limes, fresh or pickled jalapeños, green onions or avocado.

How do you make Salmon with Jalapeño Lime Butter?

  1. Combine the softened butter, seeded and diced jalapeño and half of the lime zest together. Place the butter back in the fridge or freezer to harden as you cook the salmon.
  2. Combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cumin and part of the lime zest together to make a rub.
