Combine the cranberries, water and confectioner sweetener in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer, stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool.

- Small Batch: Stir in 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Large Batch: Stir in 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
