How do I make this easy potluck dish?

All you’ll need to do is prepare the marinade and pour it over your shrimp. Seal in a plastic bag and toss to coat. That’s it!

How long can you marinate shrimp?

Since this recipe includes lemon juice, you’ll want to enjoy your cocktail shrimp 1-12 hours after marinating. The shrimp will stay fresh for up to 2-3 days, but the texture may change the longer it is in the lemon juice marinade.

How to store cocktail shrimp

You’ll want to keep these shrimp in the fridge, in either a plastic bag or a container with an airtight lid. These shrimp will keep fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Can you freeze cocktail shrimp?

If your shrimp has been previously frozen, you should not refreeze it. If you made this marinated shrimp with fresh shrimp that has never been frozen, then you can freeze this recipe. This shrimp will stay fresh in the freezer for up to six months.

Is marinated shrimp good for meal prep?

If you plan on enjoying within two days, this is a great quick meal prep option. I wouldn’t recommend this recipe for a full week of meal prep because the texture of the shrimp will change in the marinade after 2-3 days.
