One Pan Shrimp Pasta with Feta! Ready in under 15 minutes! This simple one pan pasta dish is easy enough for a weeknight meal but fancy enough for a dinner party! And gluten free!

Growing up we always had dinner sitting at the table, all six of us. Actually, I didn’t really know that having a family dinner is kind of a lost art because it was just normal to us. So many of my very best memories were spent sitting around the dinning room table with a big home cooked meal from Mom.

Now that Mr. Maebell and I have home of our own I try very hard to keep the tradition alive. That’s why I love adding another recipe that takes 30 minutes or less — These quick and easy meals make these family dinners possible!

I whipped up this dish right after our vacation where we had basically lived off snack food for a week. I cannot tell you have wonderful it was to have a warm and delicious pasta dish swimming in a rich and creamy tomato sauce packed with cheese and pasta! It was the perfect way to settle back into our routine!

This dish can be made in under 15 minutes and in just one pan! It makes it an ideal dish for busy weeknights! There is just something so comforting about siting at the table with a big pasta dish with someone that you love, especially after a long day.

Ingredients for One Pan Shrimp Pasta:

We don’t use a ton of ingredients, so it’s important that we use the highest quality we can find. Here’s what I used:

  • Ragu Organic pasta sauce
  • Water
  • White wine
  • Heavy cream
  • Uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Gluten free penne pasta
  • Feta
  • Arugula
  • Basil (optional)

Why should I use Ragu pasta sauce?

For the tomato sauce I use Ragu Traditional Pasta Sauce. We all know a great sauce starts with great ingredients, and luckily Ragu agrees. Ragu is an authentic Italian sauce with richer taste and aroma and richer texture than other sauces because it’s made the traditional way and with the same standards set by Assunta in 1937.

Ragu lets you see, smell, and savor their longstanding tradition of fresh taste. Instead of using shortcuts, they follow Assunta’s secret family recipe slow-simmering vine-ripened tomatoes, garlic, and fragrant herbs. It also contains no artificial flavors, artificial colors, or high fructose corn syrup, just real delicious food.

How do I make One Pan Shrimp Pasta?

In my opinion, the best thing about this recipe (besides the deliciousness) is that you don’t have to cook the pasta and sauce separately! Everything gets to simmer together, making it quick to cook AND clean up!

First you’ll add the pasta sauce, wine, cream, and water and bring those to a simmer. Once things get a bit bubbly, toss in the uncooked pasta and raw shrimp. Let these simmer for 15 minutes, soaking up all that great flavor.

After 15 minutes, place the lid on the pan for the final 5 minutes of cooking. This helps prevent too much liquid from evaporating, leaving you with a creamy sauce coating every piece of pasta and shrimp!

Finally, finish off the pasta by stirring in fresh arugula and tangy feta cheese. The combination of the sweet creamy tomato sauce, al dente pasta, plump shrimp and tangy feta are unstoppable! It is the perfect dish to satisfy your families comfort food cravings!

If you’d like to garnish with fresh basil, I highly recommend it!
