Summer White Sangria Ingredients

Here is a quick overview of what you will need. Find exact measurements in the printable recipe card below.
- Pinot Grigio and Triple Sec – Feel free to use another light-bodied white wine like a sweet Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc if you like. The triple sec adds a lovely citrus flavor that complements the berries perfectly.
- Sprite – This lemon-lime soda adds a refreshing fizz and a sweetness we love. Ginger ale could work, too. If you want a spicier flavor, try ginger beer. For people who don’t like their drinks very sweet, try soda water instead.
- Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries – These fresh berries add subtle flavor and a beautiful punch of color! Mix and match as you wish. Frozen fruit can be used, though they tend to color the beverage more.
- Mint leaves – This aromatic garnish adds beautiful color and flavor without overpowering the other flavors! Feel free to try basil leaves instead if you want a more savory scent.
How to Make White Sangria
This recipe truly could not be any easier! Simply pour all the ingredients EXCEPT the Sprite into a pitcher, cover, and refrigerate. When the drink is chilled and you are ready to serve, pour in the sprite, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and serve.

What to serve with white wine sangria
For a light brunch, serve this sangria with some Mini Quiche, our favorite Bacon Deviled Eggs, and Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries. If you’re having a cookout, this recipe goes great with Smoked BBQ Sandwiches, Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms, or a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.

Tips
- Don’t pour the Sprite too early. Its carbonation will fizz out within a few hours, so you get the best texture when you pour it right before serving.
- Only put the berries into the alcohol a few hours before serving. The longer they are in it, the more they soak up.
- While this white wine sangria starts very clear, it will become more and more pink the longer the berries sit in it.
- Consider serving this for all your patriotic holidays (4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day) as it gives the perfect “red, white, and blue” appearance!
