Ingredients for Chicken Caesar Wraps
Below are the simple ingredients you will need to make this easy healthy chicken Caesar wrap recipe. Scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the page to see the exact amounts for each ingredient. For more substitution ideas, check the FAQ section down below.

- Chicken: You’ll need already cooked chicken, either shredded or chopped into smaller pieces. When you’re in a hurry, nothing beats a rotisserie chicken from the store!
- Tomatoes: I used grape tomatoes cut in half, but you can also use cherry or diced tomatoes.
- Caesar Dressing: Use your favorite store-bought version or make your own homemade dressing (great if you’re watching your carbs, salt, etc.)
- Lettuce: Serves as the crunchy base for the wraps. Butter lettuce, green leaf, or romaine work great, or use any type you desire with broad, strong leaves.
- Bacon: Extra crispy bacon is best to add a crunchy texture on top of each chicken Caesar salad wrap.
- Parmesan Cheese: You can use any kind, but you will get the richest flavor if you shave or shred the parmesan straight from the block/wedge.
- Croutons: Use unflavored or flavored croutons – dealer’s choice! If you’re gluten-free, low-carb, or keto, you could cut and toast some chaffles for a diet-friendly option. Feel free to omit entirely if you prefer!
How to Make a Caesar Salad Wrap
Below are photos and recipe steps so you can easily make this recipe at home. You will also need a large mixing bowl, a mixing spoon, a knife, and a cutting board.
Prepare Filling

In a large bowl, stir together the cooked chicken, tomatoes, and Caesar dressing until well combined. If you usually like your dressing pretty light, start with 1/2 or 3/4 the amount, then add more as you mix to meet your preferences. You may choose to add kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
Fill Lettuce Wraps

Spoon the filling into the center of each of the lettuce cups. Top each wrap with parmesan cheese, bacon bits, and croutons. Now you’re ready to enjoy immediately!
What to Serve with Lettuce Wraps
Enjoy chicken Caesar wraps as they are or with extra Caesar dressing for dipping. You could serve these with Crispy Eggplant Bites and a Tomato Galette for an amazing summer meal or with Bacon Deviled Eggs and Marinated Shrimp for an easier brunch.

- Easy Zucchini Fritters
- Gouda Jalapeno Bread
- Rosemary Garlic Sweet Potato Wedges
- Lemon Dijon Roast Potatoes and Broccoli
- Keto Zucchini Fries

Storage Instructions
I recommend storing leftover filling separately from the lettuce leaves (not yet assembled) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Then assemble your Caesar wrap when you’re ready to serve so the lettuce doesn’t wilt.
I don’t recommend freezing this as the fresh tomatoes can’t handle the process. They will become mushy and watery, changing the texture of the entire chicken salad.
Tips, Tricks, and Variations
- Use leftover cooked chicken or make a rotisserie chicken lettuce wrap by pulling off pieces from a store-bought chicken for easier prep.
- Make this recipe gluten-free by topping each chicken Caesar lettuce wrap with gluten-free croutons. If you want to skip croutons but want a crunch, try parmesan cheese crisps or gluten-free crackers instead. Sliced green onions add nice texture, too.
- If you prefer lettuce wraps chilled, place the prepared filling in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or until they are at your desired temperature before dishing onto the lettuce wraps.
- Do you prefer a different dressing? Swap out the Caesar salad dressing with homemade ranch, green goddess dressing, your favorite balsamic vinaigrette, hummus, or even a bit of seasoned mayo!
Chicken Caesar Salad Lettuce Wrap FAQs
If you prefer not to make lettuce wraps with rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken, use any leftover cooked meat like steak, turkey, or even shrimp. You can also make it vegetarian by swapping the meat for tofu or chickpeas and omitting the bacon bits.
In this recipe, we use bacon and croutons for a delicious crispy texture, but there are many different ingredients that could do the same! Diced vegetables like cucumber, radishes, or carrots, crushed/sliced almonds or other nuts, or pork rinds are all great options.
If you want a super crunchy bite, iceberg and romaine lettuce are great options. If you want to be able to roll and fold it without tears, a softer lettuce like Bibb or Butter would be great. Radicchio adds a gorgeous pop of color, too!
